Next week will be Valentine's Day and I already have plans for that day. The only thing off with that is that we will be going out on the 13th as she won't be free on the 14th due to classes. Even if it is not on that date, it is still the thought that counts.

Also, please visit my city so that it will grow and prosper ^_^

http://el-kamote.myminicity.com/

    <lj:music>Ladymade Star - DJ MAx Portable 2</lj:music>

It has been a while since I last updated this. Currently doing ok at work and other stuff. Looking forward to this Sunday to once again see my significant other at this months Fully Booked thing ^_^

Did same test omni and pero did, not sure if it fits me though....

Get to know yourself better

Your view on yourself:
You are down-to-earth and people like you because you are so straightforward. You are an efficient problem solver because you will listen to both sides of an argument before making a decision that usually appeals to both parties.

The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:
You are a true romantic. When you are in love, you will do anything and everything to keep your love true.

Your readiness to commit to a relationship:
You are ready to commit as soon as you meet the right person. And you believe you will pretty much know as soon as you might that person.

The seriousness of your love:
You like to flirt and behave seductively. The opposite sex finds this very attractive, and that's why you'll always have admirers hanging off your arms. But how serious are you about choosing someone to be in a relationship with?

Your views on education
Education is very important in life. You want to study hard and learn as much as you can.

The right job for you:
You have plenty of dream jobs but have little chance of doing any of them if you don't focus on something in particular. You need to choose something and go for it to be happy and achieve success.

How do you view success:
You are afraid of failure and scared to have a go at the career you would like to have in case you don't succeed. Don't give up when you haven't yet even started! Be courageous.

What are you most afraid of:
You are afraid of things that you cannot control. Sometimes you show your anger to cover up how you feel.

Who is your true self:
You are mature, reasonable, honest and give good advice. People ask for your comments on all sorts of different issues. Sometimes you might find yourself in a dilemma when trapped with a problem, which your heart rather than your head needs to solve.

Currently playing DJ Max Portable 2 and doing fairly well in it. LSS about this song in particular

http://youtube.com/watch?v=msDdDA4NxjU

Started playing Universal Century Online and I am having loads of fun, even if I always get lost and end up in the path of some raiding party or just die due to being mobbed. Getting the hang of things and well the game is simple the enemies arent. There are no levels here so its either you use skill or just get a better unit ^_^

Still stuck using the venerable original GM (in bright orange!) but i am planning on upgrading it soon into a GM Command and getting me a bazooka so i can hit at longer ranges. <lj:music>Shakugan no Shana - Aka no Seijaku</lj:music>

Lately I've been thinking of someday working outside the country, but I've always didn't seriously consider them since it would mean leaving everyone I know behind, especially the one closest to my heart.

In fact she's even more adamant about me leaving that she sort of doesn't want me to do so unless she's with me. Naemly with how distant and far we will be from each other, normally we rarely see each other often but at least we both know we are in the same country and area. Although lately she seems more open to that idea of overseas work but she still has some concerns regarding it.

Coincidently I've recently acquired Hoshi no Koe, its about a girl who leave the man she loves behind to go into the far reaches of space to combat an alien threat. The only way they can communicate to each other is via text messages that take longer and longer to send back and forth. While the girl barely ages due to the effects of faster than light travel the guy she left behind ages normally...and even considers moving on with his life.

I have only watched the short 1 hour episode of it and still haven't finished the manga as I wrote this post but I guess this story touched me in a way. Sure I'm a sap for romantic stuff compared to Tere but I guess that no matter what the setting it is in, that people will always find a way to be in love. And that people will go to extreme lengths for their love.

Just watched Saishu Heiki Kanojo live action movie and well I have mixed reactions to it. Its not exactly accurate to the manga and anime, especially the ending but it got the general feel of the heart of what this is all about, love.

I have always had mixed feelings watching and reading Saikano, for one thing it makes me reminisce about my previous experiences with love and how badly stuff turned out in my life. On the other hand I can't help but not sympathize with how things turned out in it. If you really love someone then its easy to see why when given the choice of will live, the whole population of the world or the person you love, then I would choose my love without any hesitation at all.

Sure that dark love of letting nothing stand in the way of you and that person is selfish in the extreme but then again isn't it logical to assume that you would want to be selfish in regards of that? If your not thinking like that in regards to the person close to you then its sort of easy to assume that you don't exactly love that person enough...at least in my opinion that is.

But thats just how I view this matter since for me, being with the one you love and loves you in return is more important than being rich or famous and all that other stuff. Because if you have that then you can be sure that happiness is not that far from your reach if not in your hands already.

How many of us reminisce about the old shows we've watched and compared them to the drivel we are seeing on tv? Makes one miss the good old days doesn't it? For me these old shows, Mission Impossible with Peter Graves, The Love Boat, Miami Vice will always be part of my childhood. But none of them come close to my all time classic MoonLighting.

Not only was it primarily a detective mystery but more importantly it was a comedy. This was the the show that made Bruce Willis come into the spotlight and helped him land the role he would be most famous for, detective John Maclane in Die Hard ^_^

What I most remember from this show aside from the love-hate relationship of Bruce Willis and Cybil Shepard's chara was the iconic opening song appropriately entitled Moonlighting. Sure it sounded and looked like cheezy 80's but you can't deny the fact that it oozes 80's style manliness!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bdzxnPtBwDg

Here's that cool yet cheezy intro of this show (for those too young or can't remember it well)

Before there was Princess Maker and even that Rei Ayanami PM type game, but now there is
The IdolMaster for the XBox360. It seems that in this game you need to not only try to watch over and manage a prospective Idol Girl to become an idol but a lot of them as well.

Not only do you have to make them train for dancing and singing but also look after their welfare ala PM. <lj:music>School Days - Still I Like You</lj:music>

Here are some more SchoolDays/SummerDays stuff.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LHOF_Rv3Bmw

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1tBCKvMOMLE

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0rX_rzgsLe0

I seem to be in a sort of morbid fascination phase, first with liking Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni and SchoolDays and SummerDays. But then again those 2 games have a more realistic feel to them than your average ero game.

Why?

Well mainly because the reactions of the girls in those games are more likely to be actualized than the majority of what is seen in games, even if the violence is a little bit exaggerated for dramatic effect. But then again, killing your rival for the guy you love is a more valid reaction than spontaneously agreeing to sharing him, the fabled "harem route/more than one girl end" none withstanding.

P.S. This is what School Days SHOULD have been >_<

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KJtpqJamrDc

<lj:music>Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni - Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni</lj:music>

Lets just say that appearances can be deceiving, most people eher know that I recently is looking forward to playing School Days, a 7.6gig erogame that is fully animated (thats why its so big). Especially with me lamenting the fact that its alternate universe sort of prequel Summer Days was released 7 days ago. Lets just say I aint really looking forward to getting that game yet due to the fact that it has a patch 1.35gigs big.

Now I have gotten both the opening/intro movies for them as well as the 25minute preview episode of School Days, these games can be classified as animes due to the fact their already animated. And from looking at those videos I thought this was a sweet ren-ai'sh kind of ero game that had 30 endings, but however looks can be decieving SO very much as these sample ending gifs show as well as what the endings names are.

Death
http://giyes209.dns4me.com/others/school_days_01.gif

Blood
http://giyes209.dns4me.com/others/school_days_00.gif

Lets just say those girls (Kotonoha and Sekai, in order of their deaths shown) are way too obsessed with the guy and cant either; let the other girl get the guy and would get the rival out of the way, or just cant take being without him in this world and would see him in the next. Now I always have said that I sort of like having my significant other be sort of possesive over me pero seeing these makes me have second thoughts of sorts.

PS: These are just some of the bloody endings School Days has, it does have 30 endings you know.

Browsing through various 4chan stuff and I always wondered why poeple were posting a whole lot of threads about Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni. At first glance I thought it was just some sort of romance comedy since the guy had a lot of girls around him, seems relevant to my interests so maybe later.

Only now do I discover that romance comedy it aint, for the same reason why calling a jeep a luxury sedan is fundamentally wrong....on SO many levels.

It turns out that this anime, which was based from a doujin game, is a muder mystery, however not in the same sort of vein as Micheal Connelly and its main chara Harry Bosch, but in a weird twisted Groundhog Day/The Shining type of story.

I wont go into detail about it and let the wiki explain it all http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Higurashi_no_naku_koro_ni

http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a327/hanatoko88/watanagashi-manga1.jpg

Lets just say that from what data I have accumulated about this series is that its something very disturbing yet at the same has enough mystery to keep you wanting to know what the heck is behind all this madness

    <lj:music>School Days - Still I Like You</lj:music>

Currently downloading School Days, a 7.7gig h game that is said to be fully animated. Even had a full episode just as a preview of the 1st chapter as a download on their page. The basic story is kind of cliche if you could say, guy sees girl he likes on train stop, seatmate and classmate na girl sees photo guy took of said girl and teases him about it, said guy snaps at seatmates teasing and admits he likes/loves train girl, seatmate then helps the two to get to know each other, traingirl confesses to seatmate girl that she liked the guy for a long time already but was just too shy to ask and then tells her they would go on a date this weekend, seatmate then talks with guy at the train station about said date and as the train arrives steals a kiss from guy and wishes him luck on date. Episode ends with the guy having a WTF look on his face as he contemplates how everything became screwed up, seatmate girl is crying on the train yet at the same time touching her lips while the train girl is walking home with a huge blush on her face as she thinks of the date.

And thats just School Days, Summer Days on the other hand is not the sequel but rather an alternate of what could have happened in School Days if he met and fell in love at first sight with yet another girl who appeared later in School Days.

http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a327/hanatoko88/scd_newjacket.png

Main girl of School Days (aka Train girl)

http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a327/hanatoko88/Kotonoha_Katsura.jpg

Summer Days

http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a327/hanatoko88/summer_banner.png

Main girl of Summer Days

http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a327/hanatoko88/Setsuna_Kiyoura.jpg

And for Tere, this is the pan de sal shaped cat that I say from this h manga thats kinda cute

http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a327/hanatoko88/cat03.jpg

http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a327/hanatoko88/cat02.jpg

http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a327/hanatoko88/cat01.jpg

<lj:music>Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu - Bouken Desho Desho</lj:music>

People are social beings, meaning that interpersonal relations is a vital part for humans as it gives them the feeling and emotional attachment to show that they aren't alone in this world.

Thats why communication or rather efficient communication is vital to keeping our relations with other people at an acceptable level. This is vitally important when it comes in regard to love as it becomes even more important, not to say it aint important before but more so.

Thats because when two people are in love they both possess something that no other people in the world has, the ability to hurt their significant other more than anything in the world can do. Because only a person who you really care for can hurt you that bad. likewise it is only that other person who can complete you and make you whole, something no other person can do.

This may be the reason why other people are so hesitant about getting into a relationship like that with other people, some people may not like having another person have that kind of power over them and they dont want that or the fact that they do possess that kind of power over other people is something they do not want to have as it gives them the ability to hurt that person, much more painfully since it is over that one person they so very much dont want to hurt at all.

This sort of reasoning reminds me of how I was before, a person who was in love with falling in love. Liking the idea that I was interested in another person that way rather than for the girl herself. It was so easy for me to profess love to a girl but when it comes to having that girl reciprocate that love was when i started to have fear. Fear that I may have to really entrust my heart to another person and be charged with the responisibility of doing the same for that girl. Seeing as I had a bad track record before of causing more harm than good with the feelings and emotions entrusted to me made me wary and hesitant to actually fall in love again.

Well its a good thing that I sort of got over being that shallow and being able to trust people in regards to that. Since as they say, "No man is an island", and people are meant to spend their lives with someone else. Its just that the process of having someone to spend their life with is a road thats hard to traverse.

Ever since watching Excel Saga a few years ago, I havent yet seen a series that was as wacky and weird but very funny in a long time. That changed when I saw The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi.

Well the one thing I can use to describe it is SABOG SOBRA. And in a way that was funny and at the same time interesting to watch. For one thing the first episode didnt introduce the story but was rather a romantic sci-fi work featuring a combat waitress from the future fighting a alien magican story done by the main characters for the school festival. And let me tell you it was very poorly made in terms of camera work, plot inconsistencies and just plain weird stuff like a typical high school movie.

There are only 7 episodes at the moment that are released subtitled and I'm looking forward to more ^_^

I'm a person who normally has a lot of patience in him and would normally view people in a good light first and foremost. However there are times when enough is enough.

For the past few days i've been reading the ongoing lj conflict between peropero and zero kanipan and from what I saw it wasnt pretty. Having friends generally means that you normally stick by them despite your flaws and their own flaws, differences in beliefs and even principles simply because you enjoy those persons company most of the time. Sure you may not agree with them all the time but you at least respect them for their own views as well as have them respect your own.

What I saw in those posts were more than just a mere difference of views but rather a difference on how a person percieves a true friend is to them. What I like about my circle of friends is the fact that when I do something wrong or in most cases monumentally stupid, they would more often than not tell me about it in a frank manner. I may not like what they may say about me and my actions but I damn sure know that it comes from good intentions. The advice my friends may give me may not exactly be the right course of action to do and may even be wrong but I dont dispute them on the base principle that they were the ones who thought it up and not me. I dont dismiss and mock their advice, and i dont go out of my way to antagonize and ruin their good intentions with cheap efforts in damage control to make them appear stupid just because they said some logical advice to me simply because they made me look bad to other people.

Out of all the Kamote's I'm the one with his head up in the clouds, the one who likes playing dating sims and H-games (well the one who plays the most since peropero and omni occasionaly do so but not as frequent as me) as well as being both the most perverted and yet dense person in the group. Yet inspite all of that they still consider me as a friend. People call me an open book and what they see is what others see, a fact that the Kamote's are warry of since I act the same with them as well as with my girlfriend.

Thats why most of what zero kanipan said sort of hurt since here is a guy I consider a friend and he just thinks of me and the rest of the people who thought of him as a friend as only that? Well excuse me for not adhereing to what you believe a "real" friend is. Sure he may have drifted away from the group but it was his own free will to do so, and yet he expects the people who he left behind to be ones getting down on their knee's begging for his forgiveness and reconcillation? There must be something seriously wrong here because in the real world that doesnt happen, maybe in his fantasy world where he's right all the time and everyone else is wrong and beneath him that might be true but not in reality.

It is true that one musnt look at other people's faults while ignoring your own more massive ones, but that also applies to him. Not once did he acknowledge that he did anything wrong with him drifting away and all, but that cant be true since he is after all human as well. And from how he degrades people who try to help him out with genuine advice I doubt he can call himself faultless. But in the ay he speaks of himself you'd think he was the second coming, who died and made him God? He aint faultless yet he exepcts the rest of us to concede to him because all that happened was our fault? Thats just some weird circular logic behind it.

If he wants me to "earn" his friendship back even after all the things he said and did in the past years then he's got another thing coming. Because frankly, I've got bigger, better and definately more worthwhile things to do with my life.
